Frequently asked questions
How does the no-contact tracker work?
Bloom counts the days since your last contact and shows your streak with a calming breathing aura. If you slip up, you can reset your counter anytime — healing isn't linear, and starting again is part of the process.
Are my journal entries and chats private?
Yes. Your onboarding answers, Unsent Box letters, and AI chat history are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData. Messages you send for AI responses are processed securely and are not stored permanently. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are handled by Apple, not by Bloom. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name at the top, tap Subscriptions, select Bloom, and choose Cancel or change your plan. Cancelling at least 24 hours before the renewal date stops the next charge.
I subscribed (or switched phones) but don't see my premium features.
Open Bloom, go to the paywall and tap Restore Purchase, or open Settings inside the app and tap Restore Purchases. This re-syncs your subscription from your Apple ID. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe.
How does the free trial and billing work?
If you're eligible, the annual plan starts with a free trial and only charges you when the trial ends — unless you cancel before then. The exact price and trial length are always shown in the app before you confirm. Apple grants the intro trial once per subscription group, so returning subscribers may not see a trial.
How do I delete my data?
Because your personal data lives on your device, simply deleting the app removes all of it. If you'd like us to confirm there's nothing on our side associated with you, email us and we'll take care of it.
A gentle note
Bloom is a self-care and emotional wellness companion, not a medical device or a substitute for professional therapy or medical advice. If you're in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, please reach out to a qualified professional or a local emergency line right away. In the U.S. you can call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).
